The Alterations Process

Here ye, here ye!

Lady Colleen requests your formal mastery of ‘The Alterations Process’

•When shall the Alterations Process commence?

Ladies of the court, it is best to being the alterations process 3-5 months before your wedding. Take it from your fairy godmother, “even miracles take a little time!”

Beginning 6 or more months in advance is considered a consultation, where a consultation fee may be applied. Please note any alterations work under 4 weeks is considered a rush job, and a rush fee may be applied.

•Mirror, Mirror, how many fittings before my dress is complete?

One should expect anywhere between 3-5 fittings, including the final fitting.

•Whatever shall I wear?

My dearest, be certain to bring along all undergarments you plan to wear on your big day. Especially the wedding shoes!

•When must I submit payment?

Your payment is due at the final fitting. No gown may leave without it!

And she lived happily ever after…

barring limited perfumes and makeup during her fittings,

because delicate fabrics don’t take kindly to these matters.

Nonetheless, all gowns and veils are steamed before leaving,

and away she went, just-a-beaming.
